Expectant parents are invited to attend an antenatal session at Bowen Street Community Centre, 102 Bowen St Camberwell at 7:30pm on Wednesday 12th November. This will be an opportunity to meet with some other expectant multiple parents as well as chat to seasoned multiple parents around navigating parenthood with multiple babies.  Hope to see you there!

CAMBA in partnership with the Department of Education invites you to this special event. We are thrilled to offer a special Children's Week FREE playgroup event on Sunday 26th October facilitated by Seaweed Sally. Children will be captivated by stunning displays of preserved marine specimens. From whale bones and shark jaws to octopuses, seahorses, the iconic weedy seadragon, porcupine fish, sea turtles, sponges, and coral—these are just a few of the incredible treasures which will be on display! We also encourage the presence of your very own mermaids, mermen, pirates, sharks, crocodiles, turtles, jelly fish (and anything else from the treasure chest of dress ups) are most welcome! We need you to register by the 19th October so we can arrange something for the kids to take home with them!! So jump on board NOW and RSVP!! Limited spaces! CAMBA will provide afternoon tea for everyone at Bowen Street. Then afterwards (if weather is good) we can continue at Bowen Gardens across the road for a picnic and park play! (Coffee and snacks also available across the road at Linger Cafe. They close at 3pm!) We have all been waiting on the platform very patiently for this one since this time last year!! ALL ABOARD!! TOOT TOOT!! Get the gumboots, jackets and beanies on as this event will be happening no matter what the elements offer up!  We have locked in the private picnic area located in the middle of the track. Here we have access to tables, chairs, BBQ, and shelter from the elements. We also have our very own platform. As this is a private event, we can do as many rides as you please. We have three hours booked, so if you need to juggle nap times, sports, other commitments, don't worry, as we will be there from 10am - 1pm.  CAMBA will be offering a sausage sizzle to feed those hungry mouths, so please bring along some gold coins. We will also have the Square so you can pay via card. For planning purposes we would really appreciate it if you could buy your ticket as soon as possible. You only need to purchase one family ticket. (If you have Under Ones, we still need you to register but your family ticket is free). There is also a great park next to the miniature railway if you need a break from the train / give the kids a chance to burn off even more energy! Mini Maestros will be popping in to playgroup on Tuesday 12 August to bring some music into your worlds! For those not familiar, Mini Maestros is a music school dedicated to teaching babies, toddlers and children about music. The classes use instruments, movement and sound in a fun and interactive environment. Details: Date: Tuesday 12 August 2025 Time: Playgroup starts 9am - 11am and Mini Maestros will start at 9.30am for 45mins.  Where: Bowen Street Community Centre Tickets: $25 for the whole family Spots are limited so book early. This is the invitation for our August 2025 "New Parents' Morning Tea". It's an exclusive and very special morning not to miss. The morning tea will be catered, and CAMBA will also provide CAMBA volunteers (who have older multiple children) to look after YOUR babies. This will enable you as parents to relax and connect with other parents and families. The morning tea will be hosted at Bowen Street Community Centre, which has good parking nearby, easy access for twin prams and multiple rooms allowing parents to be located in one room and your babies to be looked after in a nearby room. Please make sure you REGISTER ASAP as numbers are limited.   Please also make sure you provide any dietary requirements that you have. We hope you can make it to this fantastic event. Join us for a relaxed afternoon at Riversdale Park (right next to the playground) for a combined Under 1s and Over 1s CAMBA Catch-Up! It's a great chance to connect with other families and enjoy some fresh air together. Bring a picnic blanket and let the kids play while we catch up. Join us as CAMBA Celebrates 40 (+3) years !  With funding received from the 2024 Boroondara Community Strengthening Grant, we are delighted to host a celebration as we recognise and reflect on the achievements of the last 43 years. We would have turned 40 in 2022, but after lockdown, planning a party seemed a bit momentous and all too tricky! But now it's time to celebrate! CAMBA was incorporated in 1982 as one of the first clubs under the national Australian Multiple Birth Association which means we've been supporting families with multiples for 43 years!  This is a celebration for our current member families, but we also hope to have as many of our former members join us to celebrate. So pop it in your diary and book the babysitters. If you are also still connected to others from your CAMBA time, please do feel free to forward this invitation on. The event will be catered and drinks available at bar prices. This is an adults-only event for current and former members. Please RSVP for catering purposes by May 28.
