We have all been waiting on the platform very patiently for this one since this time last year!! ALL ABOARD!! TOOT TOOT!! Get the gumboots, jackets and beanies on as this event will be happening no matter what the elements offer up!  We have locked in the private picnic area located in the middle of the track. Here we have access to tables, chairs, BBQ, and shelter from the elements. We also have our very own platform. As this is a private event, we can do as many rides as you please. We have three hours booked, so if you need to juggle nap times, sports, other commitments, don't worry, as we will be there from 10am - 1pm.  CAMBA will be offering a sausage sizzle to feed those hungry mouths, so please bring along some gold coins. We will also have the Square so you can pay via card. For planning purposes we would really appreciate it if you could buy your ticket as soon as possible. You only need to purchase one family ticket. (If you have Under Ones, we still need you to register but your family ticket is free). There is also a great park next to the miniature railway if you need a break from the train / give the kids a chance to burn off even more energy! This is the invitation for our August 2025 "New Parents' Morning Tea". It's an exclusive and very special morning not to miss. The morning tea will be catered, and CAMBA will also provide CAMBA volunteers (who have older multiple children) to look after YOUR babies. This will enable you as parents to relax and connect with other parents and families. The morning tea will be hosted at Bowen Street Community Centre, which has good parking nearby, easy access for twin prams and multiple rooms allowing parents to be located in one room and your babies to be looked after in a nearby room. Please make sure you REGISTER ASAP as numbers are limited.   Please also make sure you provide any dietary requirements that you have. We hope you can make it to this fantastic event. Join us as CAMBA Celebrates 40 (+3) years !  With funding received from the 2024 Boroondara Community Strengthening Grant, we are delighted to host a celebration as we recognise and reflect on the achievements of the last 43 years. We would have turned 40 in 2022, but after lockdown, planning a party seemed a bit momentous and all too tricky! But now it's time to celebrate! CAMBA was incorporated in 1982 as one of the first clubs under the national Australian Multiple Birth Association which means we've been supporting families with multiples for 43 years!  This is a celebration for our current member families, but we also hope to have as many of our former members join us to celebrate. So pop it in your diary and book the babysitters. If you are also still connected to others from your CAMBA time, please do feel free to forward this invitation on. The Easter Bunny will be dropping off eggs at Riversdale Park, Spencer Street in Camberwell. There are lots of great hiding spots so I’m sure it will be a fun morning! $10 per family with multiples over the age of 1 year, FREE for families with multiples under 1 year! RSVP 23RD March so we can ensure we have enough chocolate for everyone! Hunt officially starts at 10.30am. BYO Egg hunting baskets and morning tea (nut free please) Please note: Children will be hunting for plastic eggs & will receive a small bag of Cadbury Easter eggs. CAMBA is welcoming everyone into 2025 with one of our favourite events of the year! Kew Traffic school is one of the events that really sets the club up for the year, not only in helping the club fundraise money BUT more importantly being able to get together with friends and family after the break. We have the 1.45pm session, so this means we can provide afternoon tea in the form of a sausage sizzle!!   Kew Traffic School is full of roads, roundabouts, intersections, traffic lights, street signs, railway crossings and mini trams. It is a great place for children aged between 2 and 10 years to gain confidence and develop road safety skills, away from the dangers of real traffic, BUT we also want to see those with multiples under 2 come along as well. There is plenty of grassy undercover areas to put a picnic rug out, even if it's only for one hour. Bring along grandparents to help as well. The more the merrier! The track is suitable for bikes, scooters and ride-on pedal cars. It’s important to note:- children need to bring their own bicycle or scooter and helmet. Carers or parents must stay and supervise their children. CAMBA has organised lots of fun things for the day... including a sausage sizzle, fundraising activities for the kids, plus much more....... so please bring along Gold Coins or notes - but cards are also welcome as we'll have the Square card reader available too.  RSVP HERE  or the event link below.
