We appreciate that not all families can make our fantastic Tuesday morning playgroups, so we have launched a series of three weekend playgroups in 2022.  Our second weekend playgroup is Sunday 5 June 2022 from 10am to 12.30pm. You don't need to stay for the whole session - you're welcome to pop in around nap times and other commitments. All multiples, siblings and families are welcome - even if your twins haven't been born yet! To add to the fun JoJo's Music will be joining us at 11am for a music class.  Weekend playgroup will be FREE of charge, including a light lunch provided for parents and a coffee run (thanks to a generous grant from the City of Boroondara and Rotary Club of Balwyn). Please bring along some morning tea/lunch for your children (no nuts or popcorn please).     To all Active Members of CAMBA,   Hope you and your families are all well. This Wednesday 18 May we have our Annual General Meeting - kicking off at 7:45PM with the meeting itself due to start by 8.00pm. It will be held in person at Bowen St Community Centre (102 Bowen St, Camberwell) and also online via GoToMeeting (login details below). Please click on the "Events Details" link below to get you (free) ticket for either in-person or virtual attendance.  We also would love to celebrate our achievements in the last year a bit, so if you have  plates or biscuits to share (or a bottle of some kind), just bring them along!    You can review the associated documents for our meeting - the Agenda, our Annual Report, along with our financial report.  I have also included minutes from last year's AGM. Some of these roles are about sharing your experience with others. Some involve taking the lead on organising a catch-up. They can all be adapted to suit your available time and ideas.   CAMBA wouldn't continue to operate as successfully without the amazing volunteers we have - and we are so grateful for all the time and effort that is put in. Mini Maestros are coming to Playgroup!  This is for EVERYONE who can come along, including mums, dads, siblings, grandparents, nannies etc... the session will have a mixture of songs, dances and play activities to help language and physical development, social skills, focusing and having fun together. There will be lap plays, action songs, puppet activities and parachute activities!  We won’t be able to provide instruments however if you could bring something to shake (a rattle toy you have at home or pop some rice or pasta in a well sealed plastic bottle) something to tap on (an empty upside down icecream tub or tupperware container) and a peekaboo scarf (small piece of floaty material or fashion scarf), that would be great! :-) Date: Tuesday, 3rd May  Time: 9:30am - 11:30am with Music starting at 10am Where: Bowen Street Community Centre, 102 Bowen Street, Camberwell.  03 9889 0791 Registration: Scroll down to the bottom of this email and click 'Event Details'.
