The Easter Bunny will be dropping off eggs at Riversdale Park, Spencer Street in Camberwell. CAMBA is welcoming everyone to a HUGE party. It's been a long time since we have been able to do something like this, so we have decided to book a DOUBLE session for us to enjoy the whole afternoon. We're going to organize dinner for you too!  Kew Traffic School is full of roads, roundabouts, intersections, traffic lights, street signs, railway crossings and mini trams. It is a great place for children aged between 2 and 10 years to gain confidence and develop road safety skills, away from the dangers of real traffic, BUT we also want to see those with multiples under 2 come along as well. There is plenty of grassy undercover areas to put a picnic rug out, even if it's only for one hour. We have the double session to fir around nap times for you :) Bring along grandparents to help as well. The more the merrier! The track is suitable for bikes, scooters and ride-on pedal cars. It’s important to note:- children need to bring their own bicycle or scooter and helmet. Carers or parents must stay and supervise their children. The 2022 school year has started...and what a start it's been! Back when we hosted Part 1 of our School Starters night in November 2021, no one could have imagined the challenges that lay ahead for the start of the 2022 school year! We are sure that there have been many lessons learnt and improvisations made, and we can't wait to get together again to share our experiences of the first couple of months of the school year.  Part 2 of our School Starters night will be for parents to catch up and discuss all things relating to those initial few weeks and months. It's a massive transition, and one that CAMBA families can support each other through. All members are welcome as it's never too early or too late to connect with other parents and learn from each other.  Our 'parent panel', made up of CAMBA members Patricia Plumb, Liz Greaves, Connie Sankey, Genevieve Hemsley and Nicole Geddes, will be returning. All these members have a range of school years and experiences under their belt, and are excited to share their learnings! We are also thrilled to announce that former CAMBA member Sarah Ziedel will be joining our parent panel. Sarah is paediatric Occupational Therapist with expertise in educational settings, and is happy to answer any questions you may have.  Drinks and nibbles will be provided. Mini Maestros are joining us in 2022!  This is for EVERYONE who can come along, including mums, dads, siblings, grandparents, nannies etc... the session will have a mixture of songs, dances and play activities to help language and physical development, social skills, focusing and having fun together. There will be lap plays, action songs, puppet activities and parachute activities!  Due to covid, we won’t be able to provide instruments however if you could bring something to shake (a rattle toy you have at home or pop some rice or pasta in a well sealed plastic bottle) something to tap on (an empty upside down icecream tub or tupperware container) and a peekaboo scarf (small piece of floaty material or fashion scarf), that would be great! :-) Date: Tuesday, 1st March  Time: 9:30am - 11:30am with Music starting at 10am Where: Bowen Street Community Centre, 102 Bowen Street, Camberwell.  03 9889 0791 Registration: Scroll down to the bottom of this email and click 'Event Details'.
