CAMBA are lucky to offer ten of our volunteers (committee members) the chance to participate in a first aid course  conducted by First Aid Pro with thanks to the grant we received last year from the previous Federal Government. The course HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education or Care Setting course will be run on Sunday 11 September, from 9.45 - 5. It is a 7 hour course (with a half hour break for lunch). Coffee, morning tea and lunch will be provided (also thanks to the grant funding).  There is some pre-reading required before the course itself. We will take 'bookings' for up to 13 people - but we can only have 10 attend. 3 will be 'waitlisted' and if any of those who register first cannot attend, we will contact those who are on the waitlist.

We appreciate that not all families can make our fantastic Tuesday morning playgroups, so we have launched a series of three weekend playgroups in 2022.  Our third weekend playgroup is Saturday 27 August 2022 from 10am to 12.30pm. You don't need to stay for the whole session - you're welcome to pop in around nap times and other commitments. All multiples, siblings and families are welcome - even if your twins haven't been born yet! To add to the fun JoJo's Music will be joining us at 11am for a music class.  Weekend playgroup will be FREE of charge, including a light lunch provided for parents and a coffee run (thanks to a generous grant from the City of Boroondara and Rotary Club of Balwyn). Please bring along some morning tea/lunch for your children (no nuts or popcorn please). CAMBA is proud to offer a First Aid & Serious Illness Awareness for Multiples training session.   The session will be run by Ms Fiona Kyprianou, paediatrician. The session will cover First Aid (including CPR) for infants and children, and how to recognise symptoms of a serious illness.   Event details: Sunday 21 August Time: 9.45am for a 10.00am start.
